Opening of Agriton 's New Building, Partner in the Netherlands.


Agriton, the first EMRO partner in Europe, celebrated the opening of the new building on September 17th. (New Building of Agriton below)

Agriton was founded in 1991 by Mr. Frits van den Ham and Mr. G.A. Speek as a “garage-company” selling mainly clay minerals and gardening fertilizers, soon enhanced with micro-organisms.

In 1995 Albert de Puijsselaar, one of the managers today, met Frits van den Ham in Amsterdam during an EM conference. They made the first EM•1® production in their garage. Since the EM conference of 1996 in Paris, Agriton has signed an agreement with EMRO.

Further, Agriton takes care of the dealership for several agricultural products from different companies, mainly minerals, seashells, bentonites and fertilizers.

In the year 2000 Agriton moved to a new premises (which are the old ones today) and Mr. Jan Feersma-Hoekstra joined the company. He brought his company “Agro-vital” with him and became together with Albert de Puijsselaar the successor of Frits van den Ham.

Since 2002 Agriton is producing “EM silage”.
In 2003 Agriton started with a staff of 7 employees and grown up to 11 nowadays.

In 2004 the International EM Conference held in Amsterdam.
Agriton also invested in R&D.
In 2006 they developed the products: TMR Broeiremmer for mixing with feed and EM Naturally Active for household and gardening.
Until 2010 Agriton gained more dealerships and increased the staff personnel.

In 2010 they finally moved into a new building. Today, Agriton group has subsidiaries in Belgium, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Turkey.
The new building is totally renovated and renewed inside. Walls and floors can be cleaned with water and production and storage rooms are food grade. There are two warehouses, one production room for EM•1®, another room for EM™ Bokashi and several rooms function as laboratory, meeting room, kitchen, technical control room, etc. They acquired two new tanks for manufacturing EM•1® in addition to the old four.

The opening ceremony started at 3pm and nearly 250 guests gathered in the new building.


Mr. Albert de Puijsselaar and Mr. Jan Feersma-Hoekstra, the managers of Agriton, explained the history and development of Agriton and thanked all the staff, their families, customers and suppliers for their support and collaboration.
Then Mr. Frits van den Ham opened officially the new building by pulling away a piece of cloth from the company nameplate.
Finally, the new building was opened for the visitors who looked around the warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
